Machine description
The IBC-5 is a productive tube cleaning machine. The IBC-5 is developed to be used at a wash or bundle cleaning bay and is the ultimate tool to clean bundles in a minimal timeframe during shutdowns. The machine is operated safely and comfortably from the cabin. The cabin protects the operator against the high-pressure water and possible contamination while providing a clear view of the tube sheet.

INTENDED USAGE
The Peinemann Equipment IBC-5 can solely be used for cleaning bundles. The IBC-5 must be installed correctly and placed on a stable surface. The operations need to be conducted in a designated area due to the risks associated with high-pressure water equipment. Operators must follow safety protocols and handle the IBC-5 with care. In addition, the IBC-5 comes ,with an electric or diesel power-unit. Make sure to follow the appropriate operating steps according to the type of power-unit.
The IBC-5 may only be installed, operated and maintained by qualified and trained personnel.
Before conducting actions of any kind, personnel must thoroughly read this manual. The instructions in this manual should be followed at any moment. Not following prescribed instructions could have serious consequences, such as physical injury and material damage.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following safety instructions must be followed when operating the IBC-5.
• It is prohibited for unauthorized personnel to operate the IBC-5 or come near the site.
• Inform about the nature of the chemicals on the bundle. Consult the project leader when in doubt.
• Smoking, eating and drinking around the machine and inside the cabin is prohibited. Eating and drinking are only allowed after washing hands and palms thoroughly.
• Additional protection must be worn when working with contaminated material or chemicals.
• All personnel near the installation and inside the cabin must wear approved hearing protection.
• Everyone around the installation and the operator must know the location of medical equipment and fire extinguishers.
• All services must be accessible at all times. Placing obstacles in front of fire extinguishers and emergency exits is prohibited.
• All operations must be shut down when toxic fumes are detected.
